How to take proper care of your Freya Jewels

Freya was made to be lived in; however, it is not invincible. Follow these steps to best take care of your new hair jewelry.

1. Do not brush your Freya Jewels. Clip or hold your jewelry away from the rest of your hair when you brush it. Your jewelry can snag and break if too much strain is applied.

2. Be careful washing your Freya Jewels. While the jewelry is made to be able to get wet, constant soaps, shampoos, and other chemical products are abrasive and can cause discoloration of your jewelry. Take your hair jewelry out prior to washing your hair.

3. Do not attempt to use hot tools on your Freya Jewels. The metal that our jewelry is made of is not meant to be heated in anyway. Doing so can cause harm to the jewelry and to you.

4. Remove your Freya Jewels when your hair starts to grow out. Freya Jewels is secured with a bead that clamps into your hair. When your hair starts to grow out, it is important to remove your jewelry and install it again closer to your hair roots. This will help prevent tangles and snagging at the base of your jewelry.
